Sunday sees the next round of the Senior league, this season we have been seriously depleted of athletes as well as officials, we will only have two officials travelling to Morpeth for this match, one of which will be the Field Referee. If any supporters feel that they can help out for the day, this would be appreciated, please make yourself known to Marino. We will also have no team manager; Mark will be with athletes at the English Schools Finals, management will be via Andy Ward.
Looking to the future, it looks like the senior team will drop to a lower division next year, this in a way is a good thing, the club can rebuild with athletes coming through and new recruited members, there are positive signs that older athletes are returning after the layoff because of the pandemic, so we will be able to compete at this level.
