What a year 2021 has been!! A big thank you to all spectators to sponsors, athletes to venue providers, coaches and officials to parents, spouses, and every individual who contributed, in this past, difficult year.
At this time, we remember the many members of the Athletics Community who have passed away during the year. May they Rest in Peace. They are missed.
Looking forward to the resurgence of our sport continues to give us optimism as we look towards 2022. Club competition will emerge again in the form of the Northern Youth Development league, which we were Division 2 South champions of 2021, but there was no promotion this year. However, forging ahead to the 2022 season, Division 1 is only a finger tip away. Our senior team will also be in action cementing their place in the Northern Premier Track and Field League, and in early May it will be our club meeting the Charles Stuart Open-graded meeting.
This year our nation will host another Commonwealth Games. The Journey to 2022 has well and truly begun and we all look forward to watching Team England perform on and off the track during July and August.
The club wishes you all a very safe, happy, and peaceful Christmas and New Year.
