Loco Parentis

A copy of the team sheet and provisional timetable has been provided to coaches for each athlete selected, plus a Loco Parentis form for any athlete travelling unaccompanied on the day. I would be grateful if athletes can bring the signed Loco Parentis form with them on Saturday morning and hand it to me when they board the coach. Form can be downloaded here.

Timetable and Events

The first event of the day is currently expected to be at 11am and the closing event is timetabled to finish at approximately 4.30pm subject to the match running on time. For those athletes not travelling on the coach, please try to arrive not less than 90 minutes prior to your event. A timetable can also be found here.

http://www.ukydl.org.uk

Please note that we have been advised that it was initially intended to use the Premier Division timetable, but as the allocation of club field duties for a 5-club division does not work with the Premier timetable, a re-allocation of duties will be circulated to Managers and Officials before the meeting. Therefore, whilst we are currently assuming we will be competing broadly on the Premier League timetable this might be subject to change, so please bear this in mind.

Transportation

There is a coach for athletes, parents and volunteers which will be leaving Middlesbrough Sports Village at 8am prompt. The cost is £6 per head. Anyone requiring seats for this coach must advise me as soon as possible. Coaches have my contact details and can forward these to anyone who doesn’t currently have them.

Typically the coach will arrive back at the Sports Village anywhere between 6.45pm and 7.30pm depending on traffic, timetable slippage and any other eventuality. In any event we will advise athletes to contact you when we are approximately 20 minutes away from arriving back at Middlesbrough Sports Village.

Venue

The event is on at the Keepmoat Stadium Doncaster. Address, 98 Stadium Way, Doncaster, DN4 5JW. The stadium in the Lakeside area of Doncaster, Just off the M18 and A1(M). It is very easy to navigate to and there is parking available on site, in Car Parks 2 and 3 of the Stadium Complex (please note on event days less parking will be available). If anyone is unsure of where they can park please seek clarification from an attendant at the location on the day.

To get there by car without a satnav, leave the M18 at J3 and head towards Doncaster, carry straight on across 2 sets of traffic lights and take the first exit at the roundabout, signs for ‘Stadium’ should be erected to show the correct route.
