The Clubs’ trio of athletes that made the Cleveland Team at the English Schools Championships at Manchester, 9th, 10th, 11th July 2021 have done themselves and everyone proud.

Eden Creasey finished 6th in the Under 15 girls 1500m final with a time of  4.43.51 which places her as the second fastest girl in the club records for her age.

Lois Creasey also broke a club record by running 2.13.89 in her heat for the Under 17 girls 800m.  She has now become the clubs’ record holder, breaking the previous record by 2 seconds.

Charlotte Kelsey, despite sprinting with an injury, managed to make the Senior girls 200m final and ran a time of 25.36 coming off lane 8.  Although a little slower than her best time of 24.64 which she ran in 2020 she remains the clubs’ record holder for her age group.

Well done to all three athletes.
