Here are the results for yesterday’s NYSD XC at Ormesby Hall, please let me know if you find any errors.
Many thanks to Paul McGough and the members of North York Moors A.C. for hosting an excellent meeting held in frosty, sunny conditions. The frost eased during the day which led to some testing conditions underfoot in some areas which all adds to the enjoyment of XC.
The next meeting takes place at Richmond Old Race course on Sunday 16th February, details to be sent out shortly.

Here are the provisional results for yesterday’s NYSD XC at Acklam, as always if you find any errors please let me know.
Many thanks to Mike Cotton & members of Middlesbrough & Cleveland Harriers and Jane Wistow & members of Burn Road Harriers for putting on the meeting at short notice following the cancellation of Summerhill. Although the numbers were down on previous meetings there were some close finishes. The course held up well apart from the plantation area on the large lap which did suffer from the recent rain with plenty of mud.
The next meeting is at Ormesby Hall, Middlesbrough on Sunday 19th January, I will be sending out the details in January.
I will send out the individual and team points scores later in the week.

Hi EveryoneHere are the provisional results for today’s NYSD XC meeting at Thirsk, if you spot any mistakes please let me know. Thanks to Duncan, Martyn and the members of Thirsk & Sowerby Harriers for putting on the meeting. An excellent day’s XC in almost perfect weather apart from a couple of showers, at least the thunder stayed away. There are a couple of issues which I must bring to your attention :1. There were a couple of instances today of athletes warming up on the course whilst the meeting was in progress (mainly senior men) which impeded competing athletes. This is not what we expect of athletes in this league, please respect your fellow athletes,2. ‘Due to a football match also being scheduled the football pavilion which had been arranged for toilets and changing were not available as expected. Thankfully the leisure centre who is independant of the event agreed to allow the use of the toilet facilities just prior to the event starting instead. It is therefore disappointing to hear some athlete’s/parents who used the facilities were rude to staff members in the centre. All facilities booked and used by the NYSD deserve to be respected to ensure they can be used again each year. Please be mindful of this during the forthcoming season
Please find below the results of the Charles Stuart Memorial Meeting which was held at Middlesbrough Sports Village yesterday.
