This years penultimate NJAL round, featuring the composite Tees Valley Tigers (TVT), which we Middlesbrough AC (Mandale) are part of is this Sunday 29.06.08.
Again as last weekends NYAL request, could all Club athletes, officials and supporters attending, please arrive early, first event 'around 11.30', and stay to support the team.
There was a fantastic atmosphere at last weekends blustery NYAL, which we hope to emulate apart from the gale conditions, unfortunately i'm afraid heavy rain is forecast for Sunday.
Tees Valley Tigers (TVT), to help towards the cost of next years transport for the TVT U20 athletic composite team, Nick Phelps and Charlie Dryden between them raised £130 at the recent Guisbrough Fun Run. more>>NYAL update, with the final match of the season been held on 20.07.08, again at Clairville, we are in 5th place with 13 match points. more>>

Weather warning, unusually stormy weather, high winds and heavy rain are forecast for Sunday, BBC forecaster Tomasz Schafernaker said the weather was abnormal for June. "Although it's not unusual to have this kind of weather during the winter it's rare to see this kind of gale this time of year," he said. "The storms - with winds which could reach 65mph across northern Britain - are expected to peak around midday". He went on: "The vicious gusts of wind will not only be reserved to coastal districts but may happen further inland too".

Tuesday Late News Andrew Maguire, won't be at Clairville tonight due to competing in Manchester, but can please coaches or athletes give names to either Sue Penny or Julie Maguire for the NYAL on Sunday. Andrew will be at track on Thursday if anybody needs to speak to him. UK Athletics invite all athletics club members to an official launch of Track Pride. At Gateshead International Stadium 24 June 7.30pm - 8.30pm, the evening will include an informal presentation about what Track Pride offers from a VIP guest, a question and answer session and, of course, refreshements! more>>

Clubs Awards Presentation 26.02.08, guest speaker Miss Sarah King, Head of PE at Macmillan Academy and member of the club since 1984 will present the awards and give a short talk. Awards Presentation starts at 18:30, in the Acklam Iron & Steelworks Athletics Club opposite Clairville Stadium entrance, followed by AGM.
Important decisions about the administration, way forward of our club are made at the AGM, it is essential as many members attend.
Annual Subscriptions, if you have not obtained your renewal notice; contact Jill King (membership secretary). NB only paid up members can compete for the club, and vote at theAGM.
