NYSD XC Season

Some information for all those athletes new to the NYSD XC season
starting at Acklam this coming Sunday:

You must be a member of the Club (not MiddlesbroughActive) and therefore
be registered with England Athletics. If not, please contact Jill ASAP
Arrive in good time. There is limited parking at the Acorn Centre so
park sensibly and respectfully in the neighbouring roads.
Look for Martin Peevor from the club. He will take your registration and
cash. In return your race number (don’t forget 4 pins) must be retained
for all future XC meetings.
Rules can be found on the www.nysd.org.uk website
Apart from the U11s, all athletes must wear a club vest (old or new –
both registered) U11s – no football shirts please
Finally – Enjoy. Take it steady at the beginning. If you get the chance,
download the map and walk the course beforehand so you are familiar
where and when you can overtake, especially near the finish.
Good Luck
Jill

NYSD XC – Acklam

Hi
> Attached are the details for the next NYSD XC meeting which takes
> place at The Acorn Centre, Acklam, Middlesbrough.
> There are a couple of issues I’d like to raise before the next meeting
> :
> 1. Can all clubs please ensure that the team manager is available
> BEFORE the start of the meetings to pick their club’s number folder.
> 2. All race numbers must be on the front of running vests and secured
> by 4 pins (one in each corner) which makes it a lot easier for the
> recorders to get the correct numbers.
